What was that stat line actually worth?
In standard scoring a receiver is paid only for yards and touchdowns, so a 10-catch, 60-yard game is worth just 6 points. Add a full point per reception and the same game becomes 16 — which is why possession receivers and pass-catching backs are drafted far higher in PPR leagues.
Passing yards score at one point per 25 while rushing and receiving yards score at one per 10. That 2.5x discount is deliberate: quarterbacks accumulate far more yardage than any other position, and without it no other position would ever be worth a roster spot.
