The estimator starts from your chronological age, adds about 0.15 years for every bpm of resting heart rate above 60 (and credits 0.10 years per bpm below it), subtracts 0.5 years per point of VO2 max above the age-adjusted average of 48 minus 0.5 times (age minus 20), then applies a flat 2-year credit at 150 or more active minutes a week or a 2-year penalty below 60. It is a fitness proxy, not a clinical epigenetic or blood-biomarker test, and it will not read below 15. Use it to watch your own trend over time rather than to compare yourself with anyone else.
